Fotograf Festival

Fotograf Festival: Portfolio Review

The Fotograf Festival announces an annual open call for students and the general public interested in contemporary photography and visual arts. The Portfolio Review is a unique opportunity to meet an international panel of respected artists, curators, theorists and photographers and get their constructive feedback on your work.

The event will take place on 22 September 2023 in the Korzo of the Trade Fair Palace of the National Gallery in Prague. Portfolio Review is an annual event organised by Fotograf Festival, which focuses on contemporary photography and visual arts.

This year’s Fotograf Festival, entitled HYPERTENSION23 in terms of subject matter, it deals with the tension that technology creates in our minds, exposing our attention to constant visual pressure to notice, experience and react emotionally to something. The project is dedicated to the search for a new identity of the human being whose original form has been abstracted by digital space. It has taught us to think about ourselves and humanity in a new way.

Both students and the general public interested in contemporary photography and visual arts are cordially invited to this event. This is a great opportunity to meet experienced professionals.
